Overview
This is a redesign of a common kitchen utensil: the vegetable peeler. I have focused my user group to peopler with hand stiffness, reduce mobility, and lack of grip strength caused by increasing age.
PROBLEM
Arthiritis, General Stiffness at Joints, Thin Handle, Excessive wrist movement, Too light
OBJECTIVE To design an ergonomic handle that allows for weak grip. A peeler that can be used for both pulling and pushing motion and easy to clean.
USER GROUPSenior citizens with Arthiritis, and could be expanded to people with appreciation/need for ergonomic design
