Overview

Photos help us digitize memories, but the human experience is not static or photographic.

How might we design a more immersive and intuitive way to recall and relive memories digitally that align with how we naturally experience them?

3D environment constructed from a photograph in ”Eulogy”, Black Mirror: Season 7, Episode 5

ProcessHow do we naturally experience visually?

1
Vision is built from rapid, jerky eye movements called saccades, each shifting focus to a new spot.

2
Between saccades are fixations, brief pauses where detailed information is gathered.

3
Motion and sudden changes automatically capture attention, drawing our gaze before we consciously decide.
